This is a grassland "finger" coming out of an Adenostoma fasciculatum stand that is central to the W and E edges of the table, about 1/3 of the way S of the fence line. The Adenostoma fasciculatum stand is to the N and a Pinus sabiniana stand is to the S. There is a thick thatch layer in the stand. The stand is dominated by exotic grasses.; This area is historically grazed.
